Past
The Little Things started as a hobby. I enjoyed baking and wanted to learn how to make pretty icing flowers and
other decorating techniques. I decided to sign up for a cake decorating class at a local craft store. After the
second class I knew I had found my passion. Upon completing the first series I returned for the second and third and was
completely shocked at how much I learned in such a short time.
Present
The Little Things is so much more than a hobby, it's a second career! I truly enjoy making and decorating desserts.
I have found that the best part is helping you build memories with your family and friends. Whether you are
celebrating a first birthday, a silver anniversary or just having a get together with friends, the mission of
The Little Things is to deliver a product that will truly enhance your event and contribute to your happiest memories.
Future
My vision for The Little Things does not stop at just dessert catering. One day I hope to have an actual storefront
where you can come and place your orders as well as pick up some freshly made treats to take home! I envision a place
where baking and decorating classes will be offered and a space where birthday parties can be held! All of this while
never forgetting that the goal is to make your events that much more special.
